Yes, We Can
I think I can accomplish many of things I have indicated above. It will not be easy. I know the District has a number of constraints. It has State mandates and budget restrictions. But, I think the State is only interested in quality student achievement and if we provide high quality student learning, they will support us. Also, there are a number of grants available for education and the District can tap into those grants to take pressure off its budget. I know there are political forces at play in the District, but with good administration and strong leadership from the Board, these political forces can be directed toward quality education for students.
