Teachers are the Heart of the District
Teachers are the second most important part of the child’s education. I would work to provide support and all materials needed for the teacher to do their best. I would work to hire and retain quality teachers. I want the District to provide opportunities for teachers to engage in ongoing education to sharpen their skills and stay current with successful teaching strategies. The teacher is the professional and knows what needs to be done for their students. The District needs to supply what the teacher needs. Furthermore, it is very important that the Board, Administration, and Classified Staff work together to support the teacher. This support staff should be held accountable for how they help teachers.
