Mountain View Community Church’s Mission is to love our community, the world and it’s people through God the Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Mountain View Community Church’s Values:
1)
God: We hold God as our number one value. Without God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit there is nothing. God is light and in Him there is no Darkness at all! God is love and His love is the light of men and women. Exodus 15:2 and Genesis 1:17 NIV
Service: Justice, mercy, mission, and service flow throughout the scriptures. Jesus was the greatest example of a loving servant and we are to become more like him daily! John 13:12, Mark 10:45, James 2:14, Micah 6:8 NIV
Children: Jesus loves the little children and because he does, we value them as great treasures in the Kingdom of God. Luke 18:15-17 NIV

Youth: We value youth because young people are the church now and the church of the future. We know that many people give their life to Christ before the age of 18. Thus we must do everything we can to help the young people come to know Jesus Christ. Psalms 127:4, Proverbs 22:6, 1 Timothy 4:12 NIV
Scripture: We hold Scripture as a high value because we believe that God is a God of His Word. We hold the Scripture as authoritative, powerful, and infallible. Matthew 15:32 and 2 Timothy 3:16 NIV
Seniors: We value our Seniors because we know that they can teach us through Godly wisdom and earthly experience. Job 12:12 and Leviticus 19:32 NIV

Priesthood of all believers: Every Christian is called to be ministering in the Kingdom of God. We want to help people know their gifts and serve God to the best of their ability. 1 Peter 2:5-9, Romans 12: 1-2, Philemon 1:6 NIV
Creativity/Worship: We value all of the Arts and enjoy seeing them used in the Worship of Jesus Christ. It is our hope that we will help the people of God to experience God in Worship here at MVCC. Psalms 150, Psalms 149, Psalms 5:7, Psalms 122:1, Exodus 15:2 NIV

Community: We value being together for worship, prayer, meals, and discernment together. We know that the body of Christ must hold onto God and to each other. Acts 2:42-44 NIV
Outreach: We value outreach because Jesus gave us marching orders to go out and reach people for the Kingdom of God. Matthew 28:16 and Philemon 1:6 NIV
Love: We value love because God loved us first in Jesus Christ. We know that there is no greater love than this, that a man die for his friend. John 13:34 and John 3:16 NIV
